Welcome to the future of scaffolding stock control. The Scaffolding Stock Control System (SSCS) is the first software of its kind. It has been designed specifically for scaffolding companies and has been developed in conjunction with some of them to provide exactly what is required when controlling scaffold stock.

SSCS is not part of an accounts package; it's software that tells you how much stock you have, where your stock is and it's value. There is no other product on the market that has been specifically designed by Scaffolders for Scaffolders. SSCS continues to be updated with all the new methodologies as they evolve in an ever changing world. SSCS is available as a standalone Bespoke software application, or as a fully Cloud based application.

Depending on your own particular requirement, the Bespoke version of SSCS may be better suited for your needs more than the Cloud version, or vice-versa.

Bespoke SSCS

The Bespoke version of SSCS is a fully standalone executable Windows application.

It is designed to run on a users' PC or can run from a centralised server. All data is stored in a file based structure and requires no database software to be installed on the system running SSCS.

This version of SSCS is ideal where an Internet connection is not available or is problematic.

Cloud SSCS

The Cloud version of SSCS has been designed to run entirely from our secure web site.

This version of SSCS is functionally identical to the Bespoke version of SSCS, but with lots of advantages.

FAQs

Some often asked questions asked about SSCS

We generate delivery tickets so we can estimate the weight of stock going out, so our lorries are not overloaded, can your software do this?

SSCS is designed so that ticket numbers for deliveries and returns can be auto generated if required, the weight is automatically calculated as you add items to the ticket. This is clearly displayed on the item entry screen.

We regularly transfer stock from one site to another how can the software track this?

SSCS has a built in function to handle 'Site-to-Site' transfers. The SSCS system does this by automatically creating a Delivery Ticket to the destination site and a Return Ticket to the transferring site.

Can we see the value of stock on certain jobs and also the total value of stock we hold?

SSCS has powerful reporting functions that can give you this information at the click of a button, other useful reports include, value of stock scrapped, value of stock purchased in and value of stock left in the yard. (useful to know if you have a big job coming up).

We do not want certain members of staff full access to the costs and values reports, can this be restricted?

SSCS has different security levels controlled by login procedures, for example the ticket entry level allows stock to be input providing a valid ticket number and job number is used only, all other functionality is disabled. No values are displayed only quantities and no reporting is allowed. For a company with multiple yards only the yard authorised is accessible.

We want to use Smart Scaffold material lists to be entered automatically into SSCS. Can SSCS do this?

SSCS now has the ability to have a PDF formatted file from Smart Scaffolding to automatically fill a Picking List, using a 'drag and drop' feature. After the PDF has been dropped onto the designated drop area, the material list is converted into database form and entered into the Picking List. It is then possible to transfer all or part of the Picking List directly into a Delivery Ticket.
